Susan is a graduate from Alexandria Riggs Beauty School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Susan also graduated in 1977 from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and has been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 35 years. After acquiring her degrees she solely has practiced electrolysis since 1985. She has been with Electrolysis Associates of Michigan, Inc. since 1988 and has been an partner/owner since 2000.
Comprehensive health care has many dynamics and massage therapy can play a part of that care. From simply reducing stress your overall health can be improved. Our amazing massage therapists are certified, licensed, and insured in the State of Michigan. We offer services such as: Hot Stone Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy (trigger point), Myofacial (deep tissue), Pregnancy Massage and Reflexology. We offer both table and chair massages. It is very important that you follow these after care instructions. Do not use make-up for twenty-four hours after treatment. Be sure that you do not touch the treated area. The night after treatment use either witch hazel, hydrogen peroxide, or another astringent on the treated area, especially after washing the treated area so that bacteria is not washed back into the follicles.

I had Jeannie as an electrolysis and she was very nice, as was the lady at the front desk. I went about 10 times and had NO results. I wasted my money. I could not afford this either but wanted it done for my wedding. I did mention that it was not working and she told me it takes a few times for each follicle, depending. Very disappointed, stopped going.

Went here for a massage with Allison La Chapelle. My first massage was a deal through groupon. The massage was one of the best massages I have had. I have been back multiple times and each massage did not disappoint. Would highly recommend her. The massage was very relaxing, and she was able to get all the knots and stiffness out without pain. The front desk was also very helpful and nice.

I made an appointment because they had a groupon running, but their regular pricing is not bad either. Jeanie was my esthetician and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the treatment. I did the space between my eyebrows and it took about 25 minutes. The pain was minimal. I booked an appointment for about ten days from the first day of treatment --- will write another review after I've had more to discuss results!

I didn't go here for electrolysis but a massage. La Chapelle Massage Therapy (Allion La Chapelle) was absolutely amazing. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and Rheumatic Arthritis. Early in the morning I went into urgent care for pain at the base of my neck and numbness down both arms. I couldn't lift anything, not even my purse. Urgent care prescribed pills and I asked about massage, was told it wouldn't hurt. Alliosn La Chapple was able to see me in 45 minutes, spent also almost of the time on my neck and a tiny bit on my knee with Bursitis.
When I left, both felt better than the had in months. Going back Tuesday and highly recommend her! To wrote Allison, "MASSAGE IS NOT A LUXURY, IT'S PART OF YOUR HEALTH MAINTENANCE"

The employees at Electrolysis Associates of Michigan are very professional and truly make the hair removal process as effective and comfortable as possible. I have received service from a different company, but found the electrologist's technique at EAM not only to be less painful, but she worked very quickly to cover as much of the areas needed as well.
The service providers take notes on how my body responds to different currents and probes on different areas of my body. Not only is the work precise, but the electrologist and front desk staff are very kind and discreet. Electrolysis does take more time than laser, but the results are second to none. They work to make this process as affordable as possible, but maintain high standards of sterile procedures and dermatological knowledge. The staff there are kind and welcoming to those of diverse religious, orientations and gender expression. I could recommend no other provider more highly.
