Elements Laser Spa

Ive been getting laser hair removal for about a year now from this place, Brazilian area and just finished my sessions for under arms. I have never had any issues. The same tech was doing my sessions and was great. The last 2 sessions was someone new the pain was so severe i couldnt complete my session. The very last session I notice red spots that turned brown under my arm. Im very aware of hyperpigmentation and never had signs of it which is why i continued my sessions.

I contacted Elements and they provided some skin whitening cream but has not helped. I believe the laser was to set to high and burned my skin. I got laser for under my arms so I could feel confident raising my arms but now I actually feel even more self conscious about raising my arms bc now its worse looking. Id rather of shaved daily then have these brown spots. No one has contacted me to follow up. Never getting laser hair removal again sadly.

I have been here a couple of times for IPL with Holly. She's very thorough and she's not afraid to turn up the laser enough that I've received some really great results. My freckles sloughed off and the capillaries in my face have lightened significantly. This is a no frills laser spa, but the price is fair for what you get. IPL sessions are fast, but again, no frills. Personally, I don't do them for a heated flower and water filled pillow, spa towel wrap, soothing music, scented air and dim lighting.

Those things are nice, but I want results. Holly gives me great results. Not having all of the froo froo stuff, but paying less than places that do? Works for me! Hollly's experienced and very knowledgeable. My results were better here than at Ann Webb spa, if that tells you anything. They also offer a variety of other services, like injectables, cool sculpting, yag, etc.

Be sure to request Holly and you won't be disappointed. One more thing, the salon can be hard to find at first. It's on the second level of the shopping plaza, next to a tattoo shop.

Alicia Juarez is absolutely gentile, professional, thorough and fast! I really appreciate her IPL knowledge.

Hey y'all! I purchased a Groupon for 6 sessions and figured if it didn't work then I was out a low amount of $$. The area I've done is under my arms and after the first session 75% of my hair didn't grow back! I just did my second session and am excited to see the results from it. Alicia is very nice and efficient! I'm glad I took a chance at Elements because I've had a great experience so far!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. liked their professional attitude. they provide a quality service at a reasonable price.

Critical: Quality I was told 8-12 treatments would be needed for hair removal. After 12 treatments and a couple thousand dollars there is zero difference in hair growth. I fully believe this is a scam. They hide behind some generic statement that everyone is different. Go somewhere else!

I've gone to Elements Laser Spa with great success for hair removal so I wanted to try their other services. I scheduled an appointment for an IPL and during my treatment I learned that the person performing my procedure had about a year of experience (that's being generous) and had received a certificate for beauty services in Dallas AND THATS IT. 1 year later I still have some light marks from the session and my skin's texture does not look the same or better.

I am aware that they say "do multiple sessions" for results BUT I'm not going to risk that with a spa. I learned my lesson. I consider myself lucky as I keep hearing EXTREME horror stories of inexperienced people performing these procedures with even worse results. Final Say: Go to a professionally certified dermatologist for laser treatments like IPL no matter how good the reviews may seem.

Ladies if you want beautifully fuller lips go see Caitlin. She is amazing!. I went in for laser hair removal and lip fillers. This was my first time ever doing either procedure and I was extremely nervous, but Caitlin was very caring and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. She explained both procedures to me as well as the healing process and answered any questions I had and gave me exactly what i asked for, Beautifully full lips. She even checked up on me a couple days after to make sure I was healing well. I couldn't be more pleased. :

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. I paid for 6 sessions which is what they said was the required amount of visits for laser hair removal. At first it seemed like it was working perfectly but fast forward and all the hair is still there. It's not even thinner or anything. It's like I never even had the treatment done. I even mentioned to the lady that I had previous laser hair removal at Ideal Image for a completely different area and was extremely happy with the results and never had any hair return but I was not interested in paying their high rates.

When I told her her much I paid for the other area she was shocked and that I was ripped off but it seems the other way now as I paid money for a service that didn't even work.

I had a great experience at this Laser Spa! I was nervous, but Caitlin made sure to explain the process in very clear terms, and the do's and dont's of treatment. She put me at ease and is very understanding. The location is clean and welcoming, my treatment was successful, and I will definitely return for more!

I've gotten 4 IPL's at Elements Laser Spa in N. Austin. The first 2 were amazing with Nicole but now that she is gone, the service is terrible. I did my 3rd IPL with someone they recommended & it did absolutely nothing. I contacted management & they responded that they would redo it so I went in for a 4th one with a different person & they charged me!

The girl had no idea what had happened & said management would call in a couple days. It's been over a week. I contacted them again & no response. Unfortunately, the IPL & service/communication all around is not good. I will be looking for a new place to do my IPL's.

I bought a Groupon from these people. I called a few times and got an answering machine. They finally called me back and I wanted to book an appointment. They told me I had to wait for a doctor to call me next week. I'm sitting here by my phone waiting for them to call me with no specific time. Finally somebody called me, and she was wonderful and nice. It's not the best system in the world. Especially because they can only call in the early evening.

I love this place, I get my laser done really fast and professional and the girls are the best and make you feel really comfortable. I highly recommend this place for the laser hair removal with my eyes closed

I've made an appointment for skin tightening 3 times. Each time they called right before the appointment to tell me they can't do it because they are out of gel for the machine. This last time they finally checked on why they are always out of gel, she came back on the phone to tell me they weren't offering that service anymore. They could have told me that 6 weeks ago!

They did say I could go to the downtown location for the service. I already tried that too. After paying $25 to park, the machine wouldn't work! Poorly run as far as my experience. I can't really comment on their treatments since I haven't had one!

If you're looking to have an IPL laser treatment done I highly recommend Nicole located at the north location. I was pretty nervous going in, but she made me feel right at ease. Not only does she have an awesome personality, she is SO knowledgeable about skincare and treatments and her enthusiasm for what she does really shines through! It's refreshing to see someone so passionate and in love with what they do.

I was admittedly skeptical about IPL results but after the treatment I was amazed. Nearly all of my freckles and redness in my face faded after just one treatment. Since then I've been in for a second and plan on going in for a third in a couple of months and making IPL treatments a yearly ritual. If you're on the fence about getting an IPL book with Nicole, you won't be disappointed!

Went for a ProFrac consultation and the staff was derogatory and tried to "shame" me for the soda I was drinking and what it was doing to my skin (which turned out to be a healthy 0 calorie sport drink). Extremely unprofessional. I got the same treatment elsewhere, done by actual professionals.

Nicole is the best! I love going here for my ipl photofacials, we have so much fun every time! The office and clean and they take such good care of you! If you want to get rid of dark pigmentation this is the place to go!

I saw Nicole about a week ago for an IPL on face and chest and while I have very little discoloration on my face I always do both areas and oh my what a difference it makes when you turned up the setting on my chest! I am SO pleased with the results and more pleased with your skills! I will see you in October for my next visit! You rock!

I just completed my second IPL treatment with Nicole at Elements Spa. I have had a couple of IPL's at other places with minimal results. I am so glad that I found Nicole. I was so pleased with the results from my first visit that as soon as the requisite month long wait was up I went in for round two. Nicole makes the process as painless as possible. She is highly professional and is also super nice. If you are considering a Photofacial I highly recommend Nicole at Elements!

What a disaster. Went in for a second IPL, no problems with the first. The second however burned and blistered my face. It was painful and ugly! I call to report and send pics and they are all sympathetic and want to be of assistance and give advice to keep my face clean and stay out of the sun (duh). Promise to make good on any scarring and to check in with me frequently - NEITHER HAPPENS.

I was tired of everyone asking me what happened to my face so I called them back to see what could be done and basically they say it will take time and to use sunscreen. And in case you are wondering, no, they did not reimburse my expense.didn't even offer. There are so many professional laser spas in Austin - go anywhere but here! I guess I will have to invest in getting my scars cleared up since this unprofessional organization will take your money to scar you but not to fix their horrible mistakes.

Nicole was the BEST IPL administrator I've ever had. She is focused, quick and highly informitable. She gave perfect and clear expectations and follow up instructions. I will definitely be requesting Nicole for all future treatments.

Nicole is one of a kind. I walked into the building a little nervous and uneasy and she completely eased my worries. I had gotten laser hair removal once before and the process was so painful I had to leave. I got recommended by a friend for Nicole's service and she was so sweet! She constantly asked if I was okay, if I was comfortable, and if the pain level was bearable. She was very gentle with her procedures too, which takes skill. 10 out of 10 recommend! Ask for Nicole.

Nicole is the best laser technician for IPL's at Elements Laser Spa. Ask for her if you want a thorough, cautious and methodical approach to your laser treatments. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable and could tolerate the intensity of the laser before moving on. She explained the procedure during our initial consultation and was honest and realistic about her expectations for my skin.

Beyond the treatment, Nicole is the coolest, most down-to-earth person I've worked with and I'm looking forward to chatting with her again during our next IPL appointment. Give this girl a raise, Paul! :) The north Austin location was easy to find, (on the second floor), with a large parking lot out front. All the gals I've encountered at Elements are cheerful and manage their client's time and appointment schedule very well. Thanks, ladies!

TL;DR: they burned my face, buyer beware. I just had my final treatment on most my package and left with 3 very visible burns on my face around my lip area. I am black and had my previous 5 treatments with a revolving door of technicians so perhaps that lack of continuity on the business end contributed to my current situation. I go on holiday in a few days and will be out there looking crazy with my scarred face.

If you're a person of color I strongly suggest that you find a technician who has a similar skin tone as they will probably be more attentive to your skin's needs and limits. See photo.

This review is more of a question, I'm signed up to have IPL done with elements laser spa and the only reviews I'm reading are all on hair laser removal so I would like to know why there's nothing on IPL from your customers and do want to see something that backs up your product. Thanks.

Total number of sessions: 8 Areas of import: Underarms, Brazilian (I got these areas treated simultaneously. So, total of 8 sessions, where I got treatments for both areas) I am an Asian female, extremely fair skinned (think vampire) with dark pigmented hairs, so naturally I did see results with laser hair removal, after about the 4th appointment or so.

My results though vary widely depending on which part of the anatomy you ask. On my underarms, given its flat surface, is essentially hair-free with the occasional straggler I have to shave every few weeks. Would definitely say this was a laser hair removal victory. The numerous unsightly ingrown hairs I would get previously from shaving are but a distant memory.

I did start getting hyper pigmentation towards the latter half of my sessions. So, I opted to discontinue this battle against the lone survivors. The landing strip, also flat surface, is pretty bare. Again, few stragglers. No big deal for the most part. Easy shaving. Hairs that do grow are less coarse and easily tackled. The only TRUE problem. is the actual Brazilian part.

After 8 sessions, I still have about 60-70% hair growth. Granted, the lady lips are contoured with many folds, so no flat surface to be had. Between the three different techs I've worked with, probably about three shots of laser per side would be the average. I thought to myself, maybe I will just quit while I'm ahead. I have spent a small fortune on these sessions and the results unfortunately down low have lagged behind.

This summer though I am considering tackling this anatomy again, but probably at a different location. Note: opted out of laser removal around the poo hole (which is part of the Brazilian package). Really don't get hair there to begin with so. I have been going to this location (and the previous northern office prior to the location change) for just over a year for all of these sessions.

They do honor the groupon purchases and constantly have locbox offers to help with the cost. Area appears to be well kept and clean. Service staff is professional and hospitable. Big spacious lot with numerous parking spots.

I came here after reading a lot of reviews on Yelp and looking deeply into their site for prices, videos, etc. I had my first session of full brazillian laser hair removal done by Caitlin. She is really down to earth and personable. She was also very transparent about how the process would work, tips, do's/dont's. She also made sure that the medication i was prescribed for my acne was safe to take with the treatment which I appreciated because that showed integrity and skill and made me trust her. $279 for 3 sessions of full bikini is an excellent price. The office space is very very relaxing and comforting and a clean environment!

I get my nose veins lasered away here. They're very flexible give good advice and it's good/price quality. My wife went to the downtown one too once and she was very happy with them too. All in all - good stuff. I'm a big fan of Holly. Good information on how to behave to avoid it coming back and general skin advice too. She's not ambiguous about it and that helps.

I used to frequent the downtown location before I moved back up to North. To my pleasant surprise, this location is even better than the one on San Jacinto! The main difference is the ample parking lot. I also really like my laser tech (Veronica). She is very friendly and makes sure you are comfortable with the laser intensity level every step of the way.

After a few sessions, I noticed a reasonable reduction in coarse hair growth. If you are debating laser hair removal, I recommend you to do your research on the potential side effects (although I encountered nothing other than itchiness and redness) and to go in for a consultation. I do not regret my decision at all. Make sure to check out Groupon for discount or ask for any specials!
