Andrea Porter is the founder of the Laser Hair & Skin Center of Monroeville. In 2003, she began to offer services in this location wanting to provide a convenient and comfortable setting for clients. Andrea is a Certified Laser Trainer with 14 years of experience in the industry, as well as a University of Pittsburgh graduate.
The Candela GentleLASE System is a revolutionary long-pulse high energy alexandrite laser that emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which destroys the hair follicle leaving the surrounding skin unaffected.
At the Laser Hair & Skin Center we believe in taking an individual approach for each patient. We begin with a consultation, during which we look at the current skin management regimen. The full medical history of the patient is taken and an examination of the skin is carried out to assess the current condition.

I was referred by two of my friends. I live in squirrel hill, and it worth the drive to Monroeville. Already got my third treatment of underarms, and definitely see the results! Very friendly, welcoming, clean and following all the guidelines during Covid-19. Kristyn is absolutely the best. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

These guys are AMAZING. I was referred to them by a friend, and I am beyond happy with how everything has been going. The staff is super friendly, and they make the process as painless as possible.
