I got two tattoos removed here and the owners are extremely sweet! I would recommend anyone who needs tattoo removal to get it done here because it works wonders and it is affordable! High recommend!

Crystal Lume electrolysis was affordable and I had great results! Ann really took the time to educate me on how it works, and the importance of a few equally spaced sessions. She cares for her clients and it shows. I appreciate it - thank you~

I asked to get appointment by buying groupon deal. She was very annoying and rude while she was speaking. She acted like as if I am asking her free treatment. I think this company have to learn first how to respect to customers. Then they can become eligible to get more customers

I had electrolysis done by Anne Rohror and it was AMAZING! Very little pain if any. Has helped my clear blonde hair that laser hair removal doesn't work for be removed permanently. She's a wonderful woman who is extremely knowledgeable about everything she does. I absolutely recommend her & her husband to all. I had a wonderful experience. Thanks so much!

One of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever dealt with. I bought a session on Groupon and made a appointment through Groupon, which it said merchant wants you to do. I showed up for the appointment, there wasn't anybody at this location. I called the number on the front door and the person who answered the phone told me they canceled my appointment, yet never told me they canceled my appointment. They said they wouldn't reschedule my appointment and then told me to get a refund from Groupon. Do not waste your time with this establishment. Terrible customer service.

If you are comparing different places for your cosmetic procedures you have FOUND THE PLACE! I'm 33 years old and went in today for Botox, lip filler, and a chemical peel. The prices are very affordable and the service is perfect! It was a wonderful experience and I got EXACTLY what I was looking for. The husband and wife duo make you feel like family and they make your experience personalized to your exact needs. It is not a stiff office environment. The establishment is clean, comfortable, and welcoming! I will be a repeat customer!

I waited a bit before I posted this review. I wanted to make sure I was seeing my complete, final results (minus swelling and bruising) This was not my first rodeo with Botox (I did not get that this time, I received xeomin) or filler (I received juevederm last time and got radiesse and versa this time) Previously, I was extremely happy w my Botox outcome (at another facility) but VERY disappointed with my juevederm.

As you can see from my photo, my nasal labial folds have deep lines. I received juevederm voluma in the folds themselves. The product did not stay where injected. It fell into a pocket on the bottom and created almost a jowl. I was very dissatisfied. I don't know if it was the product itself (doubtful tho) or just misplaced and not done properly. (It was done by an MD not a nurse) I went to Crystal Lume for two reasons: PRICE and ease of booking.

The online booking is SO convenient. I have two toddlers and talking on the phone is often difficult. A+ for ease of booking! My appointment was at 7pm on a Monday. For working men and women, hours are premium. Now, I have to say, I was downright SCARED driving up to the location. I actually thought I was in the wrong spot. It's not clearly marked as Crystal Lume and is located inside an urgent care.

I went back and re-read the website and it does say that they are located inside the office but I didn't read that prior to going. My previous experiences with plastic surgeons offices (where I've had various consults and injections) the offices are.opulent for lack of a better word. The office here.well, it's an urgent care office. Nothing negative to say, just a little different than I was expecting.

I became a little nervous. I was seriously wondering if I should just turn around. I'm glad I didn't. Dr Allan gave me excellent advice regarding how to improve over my last experience. (I didn't get complete removal of the lines, but saw GOOD improvement, as you can see from before and after) I ended up spending more than I anticipated BUT I also got services I wasn't planning on.

When I told my friends how much I paid, they were FLOORED. Both receive the same procedures on the regular and it clearly was less expensive, as they immediately asked where I went to and commented on the price and value. No, Dr Allan is not a board certified plastic surgeon, as noted on another review. HOWEVER, most of the time, you are not injected by the surgeon himself, you are injected by a nurse.

I believe Dr Allan had a much better grasp on anatomy and product placement than the Dr I had previously who literally does nothing but injections, all day. (I'm assuming Dr Allan probably treats urgent care patients as his primary patients) I'm extremely pleased with my results. My older children (21 & 18) both said it looked like I went in a time machine and came back 5 years younger. Im a grandmother to 2 and I certainly don't feel like I look like it anymore!

I will absolutely be back again in May for touch ups and at this price point. I can keep it up the way I want to! You most often in life get what you pay for.but if you look past the entrance to the building, the service you receive inside is TOP NOTCH and your results are right on par with the best. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value I've had several appointments with Crystal Lume for laser hair removal and have had good results so far. The staff is polite and professional and the offices are clean and relaxing. With each appointment I was in and out in a relatively quick amount of time as well. Great service and look forward to going back again.

Absolutely the best laser hair removal services anywhere. I've been to 7 others before finding Dr. Rohrer and Ann. I have spent thousands to achieve practically zero results. Literally 1 session with Dr. Rohrer and the results were after 10 days not a single hair could be seen and I was amazed. I can't believe all the time and money wasted elsewhere.

I was ready to give up on the whole idea. If you have been having poor or mediocre laser results give this husband and wife team a shot. I'll be coming back to get more areas treated for sure! Ann and Dr. Rohrer are a married couple and sometimes it shows when they have little bickering go back and forth. But I quickly realized it is because they are both passionate about delivering the best results for their clients. It was a little off putting at first but the results of their work speak louder than the little spats they can have. So don't let that worry you.

I've been going to Crystal Lume for several years. I've gotten the following procedures- Xeomin and Radiesse injections, ViPeel and a laser treatment. Xeomin is the generic Botox and it works great for me. At $9 per unit it's a steal! Anne and her husband Dr. Rohrer are knowledgeable and Anne makes great recommendations. I've trusted her thus far and have been pleased especially with my ViPeel and laser treatment.

I had 3 dark or sun spots and she used the laser on the biggest one which was the size of a nickel and it's completely disappeared in a single treatment! I plan on getting the the same treatment on the other two as well. I'm a repeat customer and chose to travel to Crystal Lume for all of my skin treatments.

Ann is awesome. Ive been seeing her for electrolysis and she's top notch. I've had electrology with several different people in several different states and she's one of the most skilled I've had the pleasure of seeing.

I won't go anywhere else for Botox and fillers! They have the best prices around! Ann is so attentive to details, and listens to what results I'm looking for. I look 10 years younger thanks to Crystal Lume medical spa! Highly recommended! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Love love love this place! I hope they stay in business for a long time! I am very particular and Dr. Alan Rohrer makes me feel comfortable with the procedure(s) and knows exactly what I want and need. I have been going to Crystal lume Medical Spa for 4 years now and will continue, not only for the professional and quality service but also for the inviting atmosphere and they make me feel like one of the family. This is truly a hidden gem here in Frederick.

Staff is great. They will treat you like family and will recommend the best for you and your budget. They are not there to make money, but to grow their business based on customer satisfaction. I've been looking for a long time for a place like this and I finally found it. I would recommend them to all my friends!

I had a really great experience here. I was alittle uneasy as I just bought a Groupon coupon. I had a horrible experience recently, but dr rohrer was a breath of fresh air. Really honest and explained all the products well. He made me feel very comfortable. My forehead and crows feet look so smooth. They took 10 years off of my face! I will be a repeat customer! Ann and Alan are miracle workers! I have used other medical spas since 2006, for my Botox and filler needs, but this is the first time all my problem lines were eliminated, and it looks so natural. I will NEVER go anywhere else. Ann and Alan are beautiful people.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Ann is so UNPROFESSIONAL, I bought a Groupon for Botox. They put the Botox in the wrong places so instead of looking refreshed, I got a tired look. Droopy eyelids. So I called her up and told her about this. Her response was SORRY you paid half price and also said we will see you next time. Then she HUNG UP ON ME. Really?

I won't go back to anybody that doesn't back up there work. Really! this is how someone runs a business. So then she text me back and said you can come back and we will look at it. I ask her are you going to charge me again?. Yes she said you only paid half the price. Of course I was not going back and went to a reliable Dermatologist in Frederick that could not fix the problem.

So I paid money for this and didn't get the right results. She might be cheap but you only get what you pay for. Very Very unhappy on how she treated me. I am 50 years old and never ever had a experience like this before. I would not recommend her to anyone. e Never would recommend this place to anyone.

I was a little apprehensive about the location since you drive up and it's like "ummm." but once I got into the place and into the suite it was really nice. Anne was funny and very informative. Love the doc! Great guy! Love that it's convenient, I can make an appt online and the results are great plus the price is awesome! I foresee myself getting more treatments here! Thank You!

This office was clean and colorful. The doctor was very nice and professional. Took his time to evaluate.

Great first visit-doctor was very gentle and thorough along with Ann who laid out all of the options available and made some helpful suggestions. I'm happy I decided to give this place a try. I will definitely be back and I really like their flexible hours.

Can't say enough good things! Went here today for my first peel, and Ann was absolutely wonderful. You can tell she loves her job, and is excited to help you view the areas you think might need some help (she takes pictures so you can see everything up close), then recommends many different ways to go about addressing things. She is very knowledgeable about different skin types, realistic-looking outcomes, and what works best given what you hope to accomplish.

She even shows you before and after pictures of results from different treatment options, then works with you to come up with a plan of what you would like to try. No pressure sales, either. If you want a place that knows about skin care, and wants to help you look fabulous at a great price, go here! And to address other Yelper's concerns. yes, this place looks like a doctor's office (because it is one), as does every other medical spa I've been to. I booked my appointment online, did not have to wait at all, and everyone was very professional. Am going back soon!

I had some procedures done at Crystal Lume by Dr. Rohrer. He is very professional and extremely polite and friendly. The services I had are looking very nice and I would recommend anyone giving them a try. I will say that the atmosphere is not quite the same as other spas, and yes Ann, the woman who works there, is Korean and a bit abrupt. And the spa reflects her personality. However, they both are extremely well trained in the services provided, the equipment is state of the art, and no where else will you receive the prices you receive there.

One more thing is this. I have known both Dr. Rohrer and Ann for a long time and both of them are all heart. Sometimes you have to break through the shell to find the true heart. I understand there are some stereotypes involved, and Ann is tough on the outside but is a warm and caring person and would do anything for her clientele. I am holding back 1 star because I do think she needs to work on her first impression, even though I know she is a wonderful person. Alan gave me the best treatments I could ask for, with Ann nearby. No where else will you get the attention and thorough treatments for the price at Crystal Lume. Please give them a try :

If I could give this place zero stars, I would! First of all, the place doesn't look like a spa - as others have already mentioned. When I got there, she made me wait for 25 minutes while she was attending to another patient. I didn't say anything about it. When she finally got to me, I told her I have another appointment an hour later. She told me that she that I shouldn't have scheduled another appointment.

She also said that I was obligated to listen to her talk about her products since Groupon gets the money (and not them!). I sat there listening to her patiently for the next 10 minutes. At last, I told her that I'm getting late. In the end, I left without getting the treatment. Hated the experience and the ambience!

I love this place! Ann really cares about her clients. She takes her time to explain everything and is very knowledgeable in her field. She makes you feel at home and relaxed which makes it all a wonderful experience. The Spa itself is private and very clean. I have been there a couple of times for different things including fillers. Do your research about these procedures and don't trust just anyone. It's your body that you are altering and you really want someone like Ann who has a great deal of experiance and knowledge to perform these kinds of services.

I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal treatments here and have had no trouble using the deal at all. Ann is very flexible with appointments and has always accomodated my requested times. I've had laser treatments before and always ended up with very irritated red skin afterwards, but not here. My skin barely looks like it's been treated with a laser at all, although the results indicate it surely has. Ann is a bubbly, friendly lady and I have had excellent results here, even after the very first treatment! 5 treatments later, I couldn't be more pleased.

I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal treatments at this establishment. I called to schedule my first appointment, and that began the most unprofessional and rude interaction I have ever had. When I explained that I have a Groupon and would like to get started with my appointments, the woman said "No you don't". After explaining to her that I am looking at my voucher, she explained that there is no way it is possible and it has expired.

I read the expiration date (in 6 months from now) and she started yelling at me. Yup, must be my fault. She said that she would not honor the Groupon and it is wrong. She told me I had to call Groupon because she is not going to have anything to do with me. THEN SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. Reading other reviews, this appears to be a common trend.

If she wasn't so rude, maybe I would try the spa without a groupon.now, absolutely no way. EVER. So, as for the service, I actually never stepped foot in the "spa", but for my 2 minute phone call, it was ridiculous, I am VERY glad that things did not work out. On the bright side, the lovely lady working at Groupon refunded my money no questions asked and was very apologetic about my run-in with Crystal Lume Medical Spa.

After reading the one negative review about Crystal Lume, I was hesitant on getting my Silk Peels here but I did anyway. I'm so glad I did because It was wonderful! Ann is so great! I could see immediate results after the first silk peel, and after the three treatments were over there was a drastic difference! My skin is smooth, looking ten times healthier and better than it did before.

I even bought the pumpkin mask that she puts on after the treatment, I use it every other day and it has greatly helped smooth out my skin. I plan on gong back to Ann in a few months for a VI Peel.

Wonderful med spa! The lady in charge is extremely informative, carefully explaining the procedures she performs in a lot of detail, and showing examples of before and after photos of past clients so you know what to expect. She's very friendly and personable as well, and will recomment products for you based on your skin's needs (but isn't pushy at all, either).

I came here for a SilkPeel, which was fantastic. I left with smooth skin and a pumpkin mask that's been working wonders on my face. She even performed extractions and provided a mask for me while I sat there for no extra cost. I really recommend this place. She does all sorts of other treatments and prices are great!
