Don't return calls after issues with procedure. Childish I don't recommend.

I had an appointment on June 22 for 40 units of Botox & a full syringe of versa lip filler. Now, this would be my 4th time going back since Jan, with Feb being the most recent. I normally have Diane, but she was out for surgery, so I had Danielle. I never seen her before but she was a really nice girl. The appointment took over an hour, which was odd, but after she was finished she told me my lips would get bigger as the days go & they would settle. 4 hours after, my swelling goes down a lot already, so I took a pick & called jiva.

I talked to a girl at the desk & I asked her if she could look in my folder to see if Danielle used a full syringe on my lips, because there's no way, since my lips only had a TINY bit of difference. She informed me that there's nothing written in my paperwork, and she would have to ask her and puts me on hold. She gets back on, tells me she said she did & she would call me back when she's finished with her client.

She calls a a n hour later & I tell her there's no way she used an entire syringe on my lips! When a full syringe is used, everybody across the nation can tell when I walk out the front doors! Not then! I asked her for an email to send my before/after pics too and she said she would Talk to the medical director about this situation as well. I emailed the pic, along with wanting compensated for this!

The next morning I email back & tell them disregard it, I didn't want to bother & next time I will make sure I see with my OWN Eyes and get TWO. As the days go by, I notice my lips getting SMALLER, like the SAME size as before. And my lips are UNEVEN. I travel around Ohio a lot, telling my story to women, and going to these events are a very important, with Very important ppl, so with me going with uneven lips is UNACCEPTABLE.

I emailed AGAIN Monday the 27, saying we need to come to an agreement here, this is ridiculous! Again, NO RESPONSE. I then called on Wednesday, 6/29, left a a message. NO RESPONSE, not surprised at this point, but very disappointment. I recommended quite a few ladies to this establishment from my TikTik, which has almost 2 million viewers, & I am truly disappointed.

I want my money back so I can go to another place that will actually do what I pay them to do. I wrote a review to the BBB, & they emailed me back insisting me to file a complaint with the Ohio medical board. I want to try to refrain from doing so, but if this isn't settled. I most def will! I don't feel comfortable allowing anybody touch my face/lips from there again, as they would probably do some vengeful shit, so I just want my $$ back.

The pic shown is proof of the nonexistent full syringe that was supposedly used, and my bottom left lip wasn't even touched at all & that's where it's uneven! My top lip wasn't even injected at all, just Around them, not IN them like they SHOULD'VE been.

Please read all of the reviews. I'm a veteran of skincare treatments and this is the first time I've been burned by a laser. I've had laser hair removal for years with another provider and had the treatment I went to Jiva for with another provider. Never a burn. I've had aggressive chemical peels. No burns. Now, in addition to the issues I wanted the lasers to treat, I now have to treat the burns. Fortunately, I reached out to the manufacturer of the laser and got treatment options. I am. not happy right now. Bottom line: Trust your instincts. The practice doesn't engender much confidence.

Laser hair removal was incredibly affordable and easy. Erin did everything to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Extremely kind and lovely staff. I really felt welcomed here.

Got micro needling and laser hair removal here both were great. Erin is amazing for my laser treatments! The staff are all very nice and always make sure you're happy with treatments!

This place is amazing and professional! Dr Nanda was extremely knowledgeable of his practice, understanding of not wanting scaring during and after this procedure due to having brown skin. The staff is wonderful, personable and down to earth. I had my first session for my tattoo removal 4/28/22 right after my consultation and I am excited about this journey with Jiva Med Spa!

Highly recommend Jiva Med Spa for tattoo removal. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Clean and high end equipment. Also affordable! I had my eyebrows tattooed, a method called powder brows. They were not to my liking. Dr. Nanda was amazing and got me taken care of. Most of the tattoo was removed in one session. Not sure yet if another session is needed but I'm extremely happy with my results.

I've been here twice for a dermaplane facial with Lillie and I have had a wonderful experience both times. She is the sweetest and made me feel at ease each time. She was very professional and explained what she was doing and what products she was using and why. I Highly recommend you go see her, you won't regret it!

I have had 4 armpit and Brazilian treatment so far and i love it. My service has been so professional, quick, and all of my questions have been answered. I feel so confident going to Erin. She is amazing. If i could give them 10 stars, i would! LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE PEOPLE!

I love this place! The staff was so helpful and kind. They are affordable do great work and the Dr took a lot of time to answer my questions! I even learned from the Dr that there is a monthly $50 weight loss injection so I got that too. The Dr even took the time to explain to me some less invasive alternatives to cosmetic surgery which is also awesome anything that would be an alternative to surgery I would for sure want to look into. I will be a regular!

The place just has a sketchy vibe. I went for BBL laser resurfacing (laser facial) the Dr, was focused on trying to get me to prepay for more sessions. Was trying to haggle me on price. Saying he's gonna hook me up with a deal, which was bullshit. He was almost an hour late. He was just unprofessional and money hungry. I don't trust them!

Go to Juvly Aestheticis, they are the best. They don't do lasers so Jiva was the only place I could find. I since found a new place. Trust your gut, if it feels off it is!

I went to Java Med Spa for NeoGraft Hair Restoration. Dr. Nanda examined my scalp and said I was a good candidate, so I agreed to do the procedure. I then went to the Ohio State University Dermatology. The Dermatologist said I needed to be treated for Scalp Psoriasis, which causes hair loss. Dr. Nanda ignored the Psoriasis, which would impact the success of the procedure.

The sale of the hair restoration procedure was more important than the outcome. I contacted Jiva Med Spa to cancel the procedure within 3 days of signing the contract. Law in most states allows a consumer to cancel a contract of certain services within 3 days of signing. Dr. Nanda tried to bully me and refused a $6,000 refund. A family member who works in a state of Ohio law office sent Dr. Nanda a letter for a full refund. Dr. Nanda then offered an unacceptable partial refund.

A letter was sent to the bank that issued the debit card used, explaining the circumstances and how Dr. Nanda was breaking the law. The bank reversed the charges and I received a full refund without going to small claims court. If you must do business with Dr. Nanda, know your state laws and don't let him bully you. He will tell you what you want to hear to sell the procedure. The results are of no concern to him.

I am pretty disappointed with my experience. I have been getting a tattoo removed for about 5 months now. When I went in for my consultation I was faced with high pressure and urgent sales tactics to get me signed up. I ended up agreeing hoping it would be worth it. I have an old small only black tattoo that should have been pretty quick to remove so we agreed on 4 sessions.

I saw hardly any results (if any) the first 3 sessions. Session 4 after voicing my concerns seemed to magically start to work and I bought a 5th session and again it did nothing. The nurse seemed to think they did not bump the laser up to a high enough level even though I had no issues at all with it. I just feel like they were after the money and didn't care at all to help me so they kept the laser to a low level and charged me more than I think it should have cost.

I have had 5 sessions and the tattoo is hardly faded. Very disappointed in the service and Jiva Med Spa's tactics. With that being said the remainder of the staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and beautiful and in an awesome location.

Super recommend this place! Came for laser hair removal, and I'm amazed at my results! IlEvery staff member is so sweet! Everyone at the desk seems to remember me and treat me like an old friend! And Erin is just so sweet! Love this place!

I had a procedure performed this past week at the Jiva Med Spa in Columbus. I was referred by a friend and everything my friend told me about the spa turned out to be true. The address is only a few minutes from downtown and was really easy to find. The office space is located in a new modern complex with state of the art equipment. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my entire time at the spa. Dr. Nanda and his nurse were both prompt, professional and informative. I am very satisfied with the results from my procedure so far and I'm grateful to my friend for her referral.

I was a laser hair removal client here for about 3 years. This year I started to receive different information regarding policy and procedures from different employees at Jiva. I questioned them about a white client that I referred getting preferential and what appeared to be favorable treatment for the exact service I was being told conflicting information for.

I spoke to someone named Amy late July and she stated that she was check with Dr. Nanda and my laser technician and call me back. Since then I've called 14 times, left 6 voicemails, sent 4 online inquired and left 3 messages with Jordan at the front desk who had an attitude the last time I called. I would think that it would be important for them to get back to a client regarding the matter.

Given this experience I caution all minorities to ask questions if you must consider them to ensure they do not charge you more or treat you unfairly. I am very disappointed as I liked my technician Cassie but I refuse to be treated unfairly C Thomas

So professional and clean! Erin is the BEST for laser, and Mila is the BEST for injections! Everyone there is so down to earth and nice! Only good things to say!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality You try to charge me 14,00$ for a tattoo removal smaller than a quarter that is 35 years old, you got 900 out of me and it's still there. Everytime the man asked me a question he would walk away and not care to hear my response. Not sure if he is the owner or manager. Very not happy and I'm going somewhere else.

My first appointment was great; employees were attentive. Second appointment was ok, third appointment was mis-scheduled & I was told they would give me a facial to make up for the mistake but that never happened and after my last cool sculpting they didn't schedule my follow up or facial and I never heard from them again. I had planned on having other services but I will not go back. Disappointing.

I highly recommend booking laser with Erin! She's incredibly thorough and professional, and is really fun and interesting to talk to during your appointment. The results after only 4 sessions so far have been very impressive. Excited to keep seeing her!

Erin has been assisting me on my journey with laser hair removal and I could not recommend her, or Jiva Med Spa any higher! She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and is so upbeat. With the price of the Groupon being so affordable, I figured I had nothing to lose considering the amount of money I've spent on waxing over the years. I have had a *wonderful* experience at Jiva Med Spa! From the front desk staff, to the initial consultation, to the appointments ALL staff has been AMAZING! I will continue to recommend this facility to any of my friends who are considering laser hair removal.

8 sessions of laser hair removal I wish I never did. I had a few light blonde chin hairs and mustache hair I was concerned about. Not nearly as bad as I have it now. I reached out and sent pictures after my sessions were completed and let Erin know the concerning aftermath of my facial hair that started to come in dark and many more hairs had developed.

She told me to come back and get another kind of procedure. I barely had the money to do the first 8 sessions and I cannot afford this. This situation is incredibly disappointing and a mistake I will regret for the rest of my life.

Awesome staff! I did the laser hair removal and was able to get rid of most of the hair within four sessions. Very effective when compared to other places. Met two staffs so far and they know what they are doing with the laser.

Erin is my lady who does my laser hair removal treatments and she is amazing! Every time I go in she is professional, kind and attentive and it makes my service feel personal. She's has a great bubbly personality that makes you feel comfortable when you're getting any service done! I would highly recommend this spa and Erin personally.

Dr. Nanda and his staff are professional, courteous and great to work with. As the owner of another medical spa, we feel confident to refer our patients to Jiva for services we do not provide such as many lasers. We're incredibly happy to have an amazing relationship with a top notch medical practice.

Something about this place just does not sit right with me. I almost hesitate to write a review for some reason. Just feels a little sketch, a little sus.know what I'm saying? I went to four different laser sessions here. First one included consultation and felt like haggling to buy a car to get a decent price for what I wanted. I felt kinda pressured and caved and bought the four sessions prepaid.

I did not get a receipt. Second session I come in and am told I only bought 3 sessions. I complain, I feel like I am being stared at like an idiot. They say they will call me and never do. Third session I come in and am told only 3 sessions, I insist it's four and they finally agree. I think this was also the one with a new assistant who awkwardly looked at my moles on my legs and asked if I had them checked recently?!

Fourth session I am relieved be to ending my time here but I am seeing results. I had to reschedule my appointment because the power was out, but they squeezed me in the next day. I come in 5 mins early, and sit and wait for a good 30-40 mins before I get up and inquire. Eventually after waiting like a good 45 mins or more I am brought back to the room where another employee tried to take someone with a later appt time in before me!

I pushed back and quickly we did my last session. At the end I am encouraged to write a good review on google for them and they say that they are asking everyone to write good reviews for them. Nahhh.

I am 15-16 sessions in now. In my most recent laser tattoo session, I started getting a lot of pin point bleeding, which may be normal for some patients, but not for me. It left so much scarring and hyperpigmentation on my body. I reached out the same day concerned about the amount of bleeding and irritation on my body. Per usual, I was told it was normal.

For over a month I was told it was normal. The pink irritation eventually faded into hyperpigmentation (photos). Danielle, who I have never previously done a session with, assured me that all this bleeding and irritation was normal. How can you even logically claim that when this is the first session I've had with you? And then told me that she raised the level of the laser.

Half of me was alarmed that she would change the level without informing me. However when I spoke to Alexis at the front desk she said something along the lines of "yeah this is not normal and all your settings were kept the same so I don't know why this would be happening". So. either lying about the settings or failing to inform patients about the treatment.

Nothing about this place makes sense. I constantly get gaslit into thinking all this scarring on my body is normal session after session. Didn't even bother bringing it to Dr. Nanda's attention because I just didn't expect any of my concerns to be addressed at this point. I'm now undergoing one laser treatment for my tattoos and another laser treatments for my scars. I'm hopeful that the PicoGenesis laser will remove the hyperpigmentation but I am so close to just getting my tattoos covered up with other tattoos now because of how disgusting my body looks as a result of this place. I've invested so much time coming here for treatments and 6 years of avoiding the sun because of it.

It feels like this place has a vendetta against me. When I came in for my second Genesis treatment (laser for scarring) the nurse started walking towards me with a makeup wipe. as in I almost got my f*cking face lasered because no one here is on the same page (this is why I'm generally so insistent on having my treatment with Kara) I've asked about obtaining my file multiple times and have not been able to receive it. I've called inquiring, I've asked if I could sign a medical records release, etc.

I just want to get a second opinion which I don't think is too much to ask given the circumstances. I've spoken to my friends who work in plastics and own their own laser clinics who have told me this is not normal. I'm incredibly sad and disappointed at my results because it has only led to more body insecurity on top of the 5-6 years of gaslighting I've received from numerous medical professionals in this office.

The transparency is just not here. I'm losing hope with this office but figure as long as I live in the area I might as well stop in while I debate the alternative of just getting my whole body tattooed again to cover the scarring. Also, my roommate came here and got absolutely bent over on laser hair removal prices. She paid around $1000 for 4 sessions. Jesus Christ?

I pay $50 a session, no contract, at Gahanna Skin Care. ***PLEASE note that the reviews either rate this clinic extremely high or extremely low. I have had other patients private message me saying they were told to leave good reviews in exchange for discounts. Please don't be dense and at the very least do multiple consultations at different clinics before committing to this one. You only have one body!***

Came here to get laser tattoo removal and the first couple experiences weren't the best until Amber started working here! She is without a doubt the most skilled and knowledgeable laser tech I've ever come across. I will be coming to her from now on for all my laser needs. They also started offering hydration IV's which are my favorite to feel super healthy and get a great skin glow. New favorite beauty spot.

Received cool sculpting 8 weeks ago and honestly no difference. First time he met with me he was 40 mins late to my appointment went ahead paid and schedule and at the end of my appointment they did t even know if I needed to come back. I've seen no results. Nothing is different. Spent the extra 200 on the bottle of stuff for my skin. Waste of money. The z thing that he claims will work nope. No difference. Worst experience. Don't waste your money.

I had a Groupon for this place. They has us redeem the voucher when making the appointment. Then after I showed up they had claimed I had canceled last minute and they could not honor my appointment. (I definitely did not cancel.) They would not even let me reschedule because of the cancellation. Had to have Groupon customer service give me a refund.

Do your research before you go in for a consultation. They will 100% try to rob you. Had a tattoo completely removed with a different company and spent maybe $700 over the course of 1.5 years, and they are trying to charge $300 per session for a tattoo 10x smaller. Not to mention the 40 min wait past my appointment time

I've been here for a variety of procedures and all of my experiences have been amazing so far. I can always count on Mila (for injections) to get the results I want without going overboard. Cassi & Erin (laser hair) were both so kind and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. You can tell they really know what they're doing. Lillie, the aesthetician, made my skin feel so soft, hydrated and refreshed with a dermaplane and facial. She's so knowledgeable about all things skin care - I wish I could've picked her brain longer.

So far, I've seen two of their massage therapists - Kim & Lili, and I've never felt better since seeing them more frequently. I'm excited to try Brittany's shiatsu style massage, too. I so look forward to trying out acupuncture and reiki soon.

Staff is nice and friendly. Unfortunately spent a lot of money here without results- sculpt, flex, cool sculpting, no results. My BMI is 19, so minimal fat overall, despite all the treatments I did it was not at all different from baseline and definitely didn't do anything extra than the 20 crunches I can do at home. Really really regret it. Please don't waste your money

Look no further for tattoo removal in Columbus, honestly. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and provide you with thorough information before beginning the procedure. I've had tattoo removal done over 7 times now, and these guys have been the best. Tattoo removal is definitely not a fun experience to go through, so it's important to make sure you are comfortable with the staff and lasers they use. They make it quick and as pain-free as possible, and always consider the best laser for your ink color. 10/10 for tattoo removal in Columbus!

The moment you walk in the office you get the sense that you're in the right place. All the staff members were very professional and knowledgeable in their jobs. The service was better than expected and now my tattoo is completely gone.

I purchased a Groupon from Grandview Aesthetic Center for laser hair removal several years ago. After 12 treatments of LHR I began to get very frustrated as the hair kept coming back and I was well past the "average 8 treatments" it takes to get rid of hair. I was told that their machines were best in class and that after buying yet another set of treatments, I'd be hair free.

After investing hundreds of dollars (more than I was told I'd have to pay)- I decided to take a break and invest dollars elsewhere. A year later, all my hair is back! Even more frustrated and worried that something may be wrong with me, I went for a second opinion at Ideal Image. They informed me that the machines they use are to temporarily shed the hair (as you can see from the NEW verbiage they've added to their website).

I called the office three times asking to speak to management and never got a call back. This speaks to the shadiness of the company. I don't think it's fair to pay for a service that you're not truly receiving therefore deserve a refund (or at least a call back!). I highly recommend avoiding this place!

I originally started coming to Grandview Aesthetic Center because I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal. From the beginning the entire staff has been great. The Groupon only covers 4 treatments and it usually takes about 8 treatments for an effective removal. I ended up buying the extra 4 treatments and glad I did. My aesthetician's name is Erin Butler.

She has been with me the entire time and makes the process comfortable. I recommend you request Erin when you do your treatments. The best thing about the process is it is so fast and simple. It only takes about ten minutes, and can easily be done on a lunch break. I highly recommend Grandview Aesthetic Center for your beauty needs!
