I was so scared to get my eyebrows done by someone new after a bad experience at a different place in Denver, but Rosanna absolutely killed it! She is so nice and shows you your brows every step of the way to make sure you like them and they look absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back!

This was my first time getting a waxing service, specifically a bikini wax. Naturally, I was pretty nervous and didn't really know what to expect. I did all my research just to make sure the service went as smoothly as it possibly could. The Broadway location is extremely clean, the products are great, and my esthetician Ava was awesome. She reassured me about the whole process, checked in on me as she moved along and did everything to make sure my first wax was as clean and comfortable as possible.

The whole process maybe took 10-15 minutes, it was painless for the most part, and everything feels great afterwards. I've already booked another appointment with Ava for the same service. I definitely recommend this place, especially if it's your first time!

So thrilled to have found Chloe at SUB! She's friendly, professional, and always does a great job. I've moved further away from the studio but will still be driving the extra half hour to come in for appointments with Chloe.

Earlier last week I had the absolute pleasure to get my eyebrows waxed by Ava. Not only did my eyebrows look beyond amazing (you read that correctly, beyond amazing) but Ava was so sweet, professional, and an all around gem of a human. It should be noted that every single person I've had provide a wax for me has been fantastic. Every. Single. Person. I appreciate everything y'all do over there and will continue to recommend Studio Urban Wax to anyone inquiring about my stunning brows.

I really like this studio and the estheticians that work here, but the prices have spiked since COVID and they no longer include tip, which was always a major selling point. A Brazillian Wax is now $60, PLUS gratuity, which ends up being pretty expensive for a 15 minute session.

I have been coming here for over 6 years. You can't find a more talented group of women. The products they use are absolutely amazing! From their facials that leave you feeling rejuvenate to the waxing services that keep you looking amazing. I just did my 1st spray tan and it was so easy and quick. I loved that you have someone to help you through the process. I can't wait to do more this summer. don't hesitate to come here at least once!

Studio urban wax is great! They are professional, good location, clean and fast! Chloe is fantastic, she does a thorough job and is so friendly, she makes an unpleasant experience not all that bad and you are left with a silky glow. Energy was weird with my esthetician -- which is not great if you're getting your v waxed. I know casual conversation is always done, but the questions she asked seemed forced and like she actually didn't really care, it was just protocol to do. I could of gotten over it and left a fine rating but besides that, this literally was the worst waxing experience I've had.

It was painful af, idk why (literally worse than a first time wax, but this was a maintenance appointment ). The woman didn't seem to care to ease that situation. I asked if there was any other technique she could do to make the experience more tolerable. First she kinda scoffed and then preceded to NOT have any solutions except to stop the session (which I didn't want) so she continued and didn't change a thing -- Didn't even add more pressures as in holding my skin after the wax was taken off.

Aside from that idk if she was just already not in the best of mood or was offended by my question/ concern with the pain. But 1) the "design" that I had requested was so so crooked, 2) she didn't check in periodically to see if I was good, and 3) she didn't even ask if I was satisfied with the work before she started cleaning up and told me to go pay downstairs.

She literally DIDN'T ask at all (and there were some things she could have cleaned up). All of which I've never experienced before. I doubt other estheticians at this place are like this, and would hope that this woman just had an off day or session because goodness -- the lady also didn't even acknowledge my thank you as I was about to leave.

If this was my first time ever doing this I would probably never, or at least anytime soon want to book another waxing appointment. I feel somewhat bad to leave a review like this, but I strongly didn't feel like that acceptable to go through especially with the high ratings ya'll get, I wouldn't of imagined that . Respectfully. (This happened a couple days ago. And to the owner, my booking info is not the same as my Yelp name. This is a real and honest review about your establishment. My appointment was on 10/30 at 6:30pm).

Can't say enough about this salon. They take COVID-19 very seriously, so I feel safe! Every esthetician I have had the pleasure of meeting, has been friendly and professional. But I don't want to leave out the reception staff. They are so courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. THANK YOU!

I couldn't be happier with my eyebrows! I got my eyebrows threaded at the beginning of the year and my eyebrows ended up being two different shapes. I over plucked them and they became super thin so I grew them out during quarantine. I went to Chloe and I don't think my eyebrows have ever looked so good! I got them waxed and tinted and I LOVE them! Chloe is so laid back and super knowledgeable. My appointment took literally 20 min and she killed it!

I went in for a bikini wax, with Kallie. She was lovely! She did a great job! I have very blonde hair, just a lot of it, she got out her magnifying lamp to double check her work. I really appreciated that. I've been places where some don't tweeze or look. Some don't have proper lighting for waxing. I am also an esthetician, so my expectations are high and backed by 22 years of experience.

I will definitely return and can honestly say I highly recommend Urban wax studio. Only improvement I can suggest, is putting something calming on the skin post wax. The front desk staff was also very friendly!

I got my first ever wax here with Chloe and I've been coming in now for almost 2 years! Chloe is amazing, and even when I can't book her I have had great experiences with almost all of the women who have worked with me. The place is always so clean, warm, and welcoming! I always recommend Studio Urban Wax- especially Chloe- to everyone who asks (or doesn't ask).

It makes the pain of a wax a pleasant self care experience :) The only quip I have is that the online booking has been a bit wonky for the past couple months, but I've always been able to call and schedule at the very least.

I've typically always had a good experience here. They have a lot of workers so I typically get a last minute appointment for waxing and I like their model where tip is included in the price. This time the gal that did my waxing did it very aggressively and it hurt a lot. I clearly was in pain but she didn't change up how she was doing anything. She was also pretty stand-off ish.

I came in to see Hailey for an eyebrow wax and a pumpkin facial with dermaplan, both of which she did a wonderful job. Not only does the wax enhance the shape of my brows but it also makes the hair come out the next round less dark and coarse. The dermaplan coupled with the pumpkin facial make my face glow! I couldn't help touching my face (which is NOT a good thing!) days after because it was so soft!

Little did I know that this appointment would lead me to come see Hailey again and again. We talked and I found out she does permanent makeup as well. I got PMU done on both of my brows and eyelashes thus i know exactly what to look for in an PMU artist. And yes Hailey is the one! I booked my appointment to do the lip blushing with her. The procedure took about 2 hours.

I would be lying if I say it didn't hurt but Hailey made me feel comfortable the entire time. And if you ask me if it's worth it to have my face tattooed. Yes it is! It cuts my makeup time to 1/4 of the time it usually took me to get ready every morning. I basically wash my face, put on moisturizer and out the door I go! The lip blushing is a semi permanent tattoo but it looks so natural.

The tattoo doesn't just go around your lip like traditional lip-liner application. Hailey did outline on the border of the lip, but she also shaded the color down into the middle of the lip in a circular motion to give it more of a blended look. I absolutely love my lips. Hailey also does microblading and eyelash enhancer as well. And yes I have already had my name down to see her in a few weeks to retouch my eyelash. Can't wait!

If you're hesitant, don't! Book your free consultation with Hailey and let her answer all of your questions. It's your face after all so I get it. But once again, trust the expert.

Friendly staff, beautiful and clean building, and most importantly did a great job! Will definitely be coming back the next time I need my brows done.

This salon is AMAZING all the way around! The staff was kind, and very pleasant from the moment I walked through the door until I walked out. They are clean and tidy! The salon itself is elegant and pretty. I had lash extensions done and I absolutely love them. Definitely recommend this salon for any needs that you have! 5 stars all the way!

I'll admit, I am lost when it comes to beauty skills. I've accidentally tweezed my eyebrows off more than once. Luckily, I took a chance on Studio Urban Wax and I have been going to them for a few months now and I really can see and feel the difference. I committed to an eyebrow wax once every 4 weeks and my eyebrow hair grows back slower and the shape stays in tact in between sessions. I've been with a few different waxers and they all do a great job-- very professional and down to earth employees. It's also a really relaxing spot to escape to and get pampered after a long day.

My only complaint is the location. I've come here for late-night appointments around 7pm and have experienced multiple occasions of homeless people harassing me as I walk from my car to the door. Once I get inside I feel a lot safer!

I had a wonderful day getting glammed up for my birthday with the ladies at the studio. I had a last tint, hydra facial and wax, the royal treatment! It was just like hanging out with my best friends. The studio it's self is also top notch, with very clean private rooms and comfortable lounge areas. Yikes. I came here on a quiet Sunday afternoon because I needed a wax and I wanted to try the traditional strips again to see if it hurt less. For starters: parking in the area is awful The waxist was late and rushed through my appointment. maybe I'm old school but I prefer a little privacy when I'm un dressing. it honestly took me a few seconds to realize she wasn't going to leave the room to give me time to get settled.

The wax was PAINFUL. More painful than the last time I did traditional wax. The worst was even though they pulled the white sheet over the black cloth. I couldn't help but think when the last time it was changed. the cloth was visibility dirty. I will definitely not be returning. ick. Here's to hoping the actual waxing was sanitary.

I've been heading to Urban Wax ever since I moved to Denver. (2 years) It was recommended to me by a local friend after I had to leave my beloved Urban Calm in San Diego. Clearly I am all about "urban" vibe. I started with whatever aesthetician I could get in with when it came to booking appointments. I honestly couldn't tell you who I've seen, but I feel in love with Jenny and she's now my go-to girl when it comes to hair removal.

My every three week services: *eyebrow tint *lip and brow wax combo *chin wax Jenny takes her time to be thorough by making sure to balance that "get to know you" time with "get me out of here quickly because you are ripping hair off of me" time. I love the no-tipping policy! I've scheduled a spray tan a few times too. This service is what keeps me from giving this amazing wax palace one more star. The service itself is great, but the tan itself isn't built to last. Let's just say I've had better.

Not only is the environment super relaxing and dimly lit, the people here are super nice and accommodating. If you are a first time client they offer great deals if you book online. Each esthetician has a specified skill level. This could be based on experience or newness to the company, I am not sure.

The higher the skill level the higher the price per service. My first service was with Amy who is a senior level esthetician. I was booked for a wax and tint. Amy was super talkative and made me feel like I was hanging out with an old friend. When she was done she handed me the mirror to take a look, and WAH-LA, I was looking fresh! The brows were a little light (they face fast) but I know to be more specific the next time.

I also chatted with the receptionist who was super nice and had a lot of product knowledge when it came to skin care. She walked me through the different products they carried up front. They were running some steal-of-a-deal specials and were offering lots of high end skin care products including Dermalogica, Jane Iredale, and Latisse. I am glad to know this little place is here and available when I need a last minute brow appointment.

Holy crap they played my favorite Sufjan Stevens song! (called Chicago) Anyway- 50% off for first time users! This is what got me to come here. So a $50 Brazilian cost me $25. That's a win! They also have online booking which is super convenient since we humans these days don't like interacting with any other humans. Got my hoo-ha decarpeted with Margaret and had pleasant conversation.

I was intimidated at first because she didn't seem as enthusiastic or smiley or friendly but she ended up being real cool and easy to talk to. The waxing itself wasn't too painful aside from a moment of super hot ass wax -minus 1 point. I got a tend skin roll on solution for ingrown hairs after waxing for $20. Didn't look @ the ingredients until after I purchased it but it's mostly just alcohol. It's basically a toner. They have a no tipping policy which is cool. They also have a 24 hour cancellation policy like most wax places do. Wax on wax off.
