I've been using Amore for a couple of years always with the same technician Sage. In January of this year I came in for my appointment and was told I would be seeing Svetlana instead. No big deal, until she wouldn't check my file to see what level the laser should have been at. I left there with extremely red skin and endured more pain than I should have.
Today I had the opportunity to meet the owner of Amore and I shared with her my experience and my frustration with NOT getting what I paid for. She smirked at me, yes smirked, and informed me that Svetlana has been with her for 6 years and is her best technician. Absolutely no humility and no concern for how my body was treated. Even though Sage is gentle and kind I will still be taking my business elsewhere as soon as my prepaid treatments are finished. To the owner I say this, if you think you can run a successful business by being callous and rude to your clients, think again!

Don't go to Amore Laser. They are a scam. I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal and was forced to pay a $20 overhead fee during my first visit. This was not disclosed on the Groupon and was not disclosed when I called to make my first appointment. Not sure how they can get away with this. Don't purchase any of their packages.

I went here for laser hair removal of a large area. I did six sessions and during the sessions, it was great and hair was incredibly thin, sparse Or gone. But after the very last session, it's like it reversed everything and the hair came back as if it was all normal again as if I wasted my time and money. Very upsetting considering I thought it was going to be great and I even referred people to do the same as I did.

Service is horrible here! Don't even use them with a Groupon because they will make no efforts to get you in. I told the receptionist I had a Groupon and I was told I had a 3 month wait. Not even possible to do a treatment plan with their schedule. There are many other spas that offer much better service! I'm Only giving one star because zero stars wasn't an option.

Got a groupon for laser spider vein removal pre- covid. When I looked it was going to expire this month. I emailed the clinic explaining my situation. They got me in the next day. Front desk was probably the most pleasant receptionist I have come acrossed. I went in at 905. My appointment was at 915. They were pretty busy with clients and phone calls. She handled it like a star. My technician was not as appealing. Straight to the point. She did her job and that was it. Nonetheless no complaints.

I came here because I had purchased a deal from Groupon. At first they were bad about responding to phone calls so I thought it'd be a shit show from then on. I finally got an appointment scheduled and from then on they pre-booked my appointments. Everything was always fantastic and clean. I was in and out in just a few minutes every time (lasered underarms). This place is awesome :)

Always professional, quick, friendly service. Office is very clean and they have the Covid19 safety procedures in place to make their customers feel comfortable including temperature checks before they begin. Their prices are reasonable and competitive to the market but they also accept Groupon deals and have their own special offers. Will definitely return once my sessions are complete!

I started my Laser Hair Removal right before the covid-season. I purchased a Groupon for 9 sessions on an extra-small spot for only $56. As many have mentioned, getting a hold of the admin staff is difficult. When covid first broke out, they didn't call their patients to inform them their offices were suspending services. I came to the door for my appointment late March, no one in sight.
When they reopened just weeks ago, they didn't make a peep. I had to contact THEM and to my surprise, someone answered and was able to schedule me fairly quickly. The clinic's appearance is nothing spectacular or chic, the decor is outdated, but you pay for what you get. On the upside, their Groupon offers are honestly, one of the best deals provided. Unfortunately, you can't purchase multiple offers, but they will honor the Groupon price at the clinic.

How do you support Austin during this pandemic? Locally owned and a family run laser hair removal clinic. I've been coming to Amore for my facial treatments with Svetlana who is so welcoming and inviting that upon my own request I started my laser hair removal in my bikini area. As a modest girl, it's hard to show areas that are intimate but with Svetlana's professionalism and the check in process being a breeze I don't need to second guess what I'm here for, which they bring.

So disappointed by this place. I wanted to love them but holy wow its so hard to get an appointment. You HAVE to get laser every 6 weeks in order for it to be effective. Anytime I have tried to reschedule - even with a 1/2 week notice, my appointment gets pushed by over 3 or 4 weeks. They are completely understaffed and never answer the phones. It's extremely difficult to stay consistent with laser when there is barely any availability for weeks or months.

I'm currently doing a 6 session treatment for my underarms and it's been great! My technician is Svetlana and she always greets me with a smile and is super fast and efficient. The first treatment was pretty painful but the last few were not as bad. I was also just informed they do "touch ups" in case there are any stubborn hairs in an area that's been previously treated after your package is completed. They can get pretty booked up so planning ahead at least a month would be advisable.

I have mixed emotions about this place. I bought a Groupon and getting the first appointment was difficult since no one answered the phone nor got back to me after learning voicemails. The technicians that did treatments on me were are very friendly and professional. The receptionist on the other hand either was having a good day and treated you nicely or she was livid and just couldn't hide her attitude and bad customer service manners.
Changing your appointment is like one of those things that she tells you with an attitude it'll take two more months to get seen if you want to reschedule. The results were ok, but not 100% sold on their procedures or equipment.
